Let me talk to Mandy tonight or tomorrow and get back with you. I know she had looked into reservations and would know more than I.

You can find info and make reservations at durangotrain.com. The train ride is 31/2 hours to Silverton with a two break in Silverton and then a 3.5 hour return ride also. It is pretty much an all day thing. Adults are $75 for standard class. There are two types of standard class seating... open air gondolas and private coach. Children 4-11 are $45. The train ride is rated one of the top ten in the world. Also, there is a train and zip line tour available which sounds way cool... it's just not affordable to us right now, but some of you guys might enjoy that.

I do think there are different time departures so if you want to go together just let us know so we can make sure we make reservatons for the same time. I called for a group discount but they don't offer any during the time we're there...peak months. Anyway, check it out and let us know. We probably won't make our reservations for another month or so.
