Go Nellie!!

Just because I know Jennefer won't want to brag. . . well that's what sister's are for. Nellie is in the semi-final round for Sterling Scholar in Utah. Here is the newspaper information. Nellie is listed in the Southern region under arts. As we all know she is very talented when it comes to art, but she is also one of the smartest kids I know. Congratulations Nellie! (I've always told you your my soul mate does that make me smart too? Even if you think I am really crazy when I say that.)

Snow

Yes, I have red hair in this pic(its the Halloween spray on stuff) You will also notice I have shorts on. What was I thinking. Today we didn't have school because of all the snow. Molllie REALLY enjoyed the snow. She ate most of it. Krypto HATES snow, just like my dad. He wouldnt even go near the doggie door. We went sleding on inner tubes, and we went down at about 100 mph until they all popped. The pic in the right corner is what our yard looked like in the morning, but you cant really tell how deep it is. So our snow day was pretty eventful, talk to you later.

Yes, I am posting while my husband and family are watching the super bowl. I catch a piece of it here and there and it is enough for me. How about you Keith? I credit Keith for teaching me everything I know about football, I have found that most girls don't know the difference between offense and defense. I guess thats not totally true. BUT I even know what a first and 10 is, the sign for holding, and when the chains need to be moved. Of course who wouldn't want their big brother to think they were smart.. instead of Stupid!!

If you come to our house in the next 6 weeks I promise we will take you to some kind of performance. Emily made first chair cello in her Metropolitian Youth Symphony Division. She is in the 4th division and this is her first year. She will audition this week for Junior High District Honor Orchestra. And she made Molly in the school play Annie... shes an orphan.
Stephanie on the other hand just had regional audtions for vocal and viola. We will find out next week how that went.
Olivia wrote a short story for school, they took the two top stories to a state competition and she is one of them, pretty good for a kid who is diagnosed with a writing disability.

Its also Birthday Mania at our house. Jordan today, Cade (1) tomorrow, and Emily on Tuesday. and thats just the beginning.
Love ya
