A Lunar Eclipse Wednesday Night
This is a test, a test of your blog reading habits (and your degree of Caldwell Craziness). There is an eclipse happening Wednesday night early (you don't have to get up at 3 AM) and it is the last one until Dec. 21, 2010. That means your young kids will be going to MIA or having you wishing they were. And your teenagers will be planning their weddings or how to run away from home, its hard to say if there is any difference.
From the Jackson Hole Star-Tribune:
"The partial eclipse will begin at 6:43 p.m. when the moon's eastern edge slowly moves in the Earth's umbral shadow. Wednesday's totality will last just under 50 minutes before the moon passes out of the Earth's shadow from the opposite side.
"Totality will begin at about 8 p.m. and end at about 8:50 p.m."
And since this is a Jackson paper, the times are in mountain time, not eastern time. And since it is still winter, you Arizona people won't have to worry if you have been annexed (or is it annexxed, I can never remember whether you double up the xx's or not, at least you don't triple them) into California for another summer.
So take your kids out and enjoy it while you still can. This may be the opportunity of a lifetime (OK, they happen every couple of years, but they are still fun).

News at the Keith Caldwell Home
Carra earned her YW Recognition Award on January 27, 2008. She received it in church yesterday. We are very proud of her!!!
Keith had quite the excitement of Saturday, Feb. 2nd. He was called out of the audience to participate in a magic show put on by the Silvercreek Performing Arts Committee. The professional magician was also a great pick pocket. He "stole" Keith's watch, so Keith had to go back on stage later to retrieve it. You all know how much Keith "loves" to be in front of people. To have to go up twice was not what he thought was a fun Saturday Night. We all loved the show, even though Keith did not.
We had a beautiful snow day today. We are hoping for at least a two hour delay tomorrow.

Great News!! Jessica and Cassidy had their baby on Saturday morning at 9:10 am. We knew he was going to have a big baby but he suprised us all by weighing in at 10 pounds 1 ounces. He matched is weight with the height of 23 inches. So we have one big happy baby. His name is Cade Roy Trimble. I can't believe how much fun it is to be a grandma!!! Beats the heck out of having them yourself. Jessica is a trooper and doing great. I have included a picture or two to show off.
