Happy 4th of July

Last night we had a lot of fun with Pauls family.  We can watch fireworks right from our front porch and they are really close.  People coming to watch fireworks parked in our neighborhood thats how close we are.  But we played all afternoon and ate and played some more until the fireworks were supposed to start of course they were late.  And by the way it wasn't too hot outside waiting for the fireworks to start.  Yes it was not cooled off yet either.

this is Pauls big blowup water slide that the kids played on forever.  I don't think Tianne and Bethany came in until we were ready to take it down for the day. 

Ashley tried to read but to much was going on and she ended up playing the wii and guitar hero the rest of the night.  Hannah this is your book btw.

Nate and Paul didn't want to sit outside in the heat and played inside before the kids took over.

Who needed water when there are big trucks around?

Kirsten and Emma where  awesome at this game.

This kept most of the girls busy all night.  Thanks to Beth for bringing over the other mat it made Dancing really fun and you can really do good we even had some b's not just d's and e's

Jamie brought out his computer and we hooked up his guitar and our guitar they other kids really had fun playing two guitars

But I think Paul and Jamie had more fun

Swim!!

Marynda has a crush on her swim teacher Matt Bonham.Timothy and Marynda are in swimming lessons for the summer.

Hanna and Vashtia are in swim team also.

Thank Uncle Craig for finding Mississippi and Utah. We now need South Carolina and Michigan- Alaska and Hawaii when they come out.

Reunion

Hey we have started thinking about food and what to cook so I was wondering if we could get a head count from the head of each family. I know some aren't planning on coming and was wondering who they were and if the married/collage kids were coming and if we should plan on them.

Btw the shaws are 2 adults and 5 kids yes collin eats more then kirsten or zoe at this point so i would count him as a kid

Wonderful Baptism

So we had a grand, and wanted to thank everyone who was able to come to June's and Maddison's baptism. We had lots of family, fun and food. As far as I can tell nobody or nothing was permanently damaged, and Carra escaped without cake being thrown at her. I may not have won on the Wii, but my capture the flag team only lost one time. Thanks all of you for making it a special day! Cathe

Timothy's Quarters

Timothy is collecting the 50 state quarters. He needs: South Carolina, Mississippi, Michigan, Iowa, and Utah - Alaska and Hawaii - come out later this year. Keep an eye out for them. He will trade you a quarter that he already has for the one he needs.

Help Needed

Mark and Marsha just flew their youngest son, Gunner, to the valley to a heart surgical center. He had blood clots and was bleeding. The doctors will operate as soon as they can now and Ray said it would take seven hours. (This is from his Grandpa and Grandma) Ray ask us to notify the family and ask for prayers for the little guy. Will let you know more as soon as we hear--which will be awhile as we are headed for Prescott as soon as get thru with my last therepy session tomorrow.

Directions for June and Madison's Baptism

For anyone who is coming to the baptism on Saturday at 10am, I thought I would send you some directions:

After you pass Dewey, on HWY 69, you want to take a right at Fain Rd (which become AZ-89 Alt). This is at a stop light after you pass the View Point Subdivision, I would guess 3-5 miles before Prescott Valley. This will wind along the backside of Prescott Valley and Prescott. You want to take a left at the Pioneer Parkway exit/stoplight. This will take you to Willow Creed Road. When you see the car dealerships look for the light at Sandretto Drive. Take a right on Sandretto drive and this will take you right to the Stake Center.

To get back to my house after or before the baptism you will return to the AZ-89 ALT-(or Pioneer Parkway it getting on in Prescott) Take a right at the Glassford Hills exit. Take a left at Spouse Dr. A left on Spring Rd, and then a right on Granada Dr.
